We started Homey after spending months trying to find support for our mother, who was fully independent but living alone in Manchester
Finding someone to live with her has changed her life completely, and now we want to dedicate our lives to doing the same for others
We are just getting started, but want to bring new affordable housing options to young people while also providing social connection to the one in four lonely people aged 60 and above
