Where it started
Where it started
We started Homey after finding a lodger for my mother, Sanita, who lived alone in Manchester.
She didn’t like the idea at first, but I convinced her to try it by offering to vet, meet, and interview potential tenants.
Fast forward 2 years and my mum is still living with her lodger - and absolutely loves it! It got me thinking of creating a lodger finding service for people with with extra rooms in London.
We are just getting started, but want to bring new affordable housing options to young people while also rebuilding relationships between generations
